Sun Valley Theatre Earns Four Awards at Greater Philadelphia Cappies Gala

The 19th Annual Greater Philadelphia Cappies Gala was held on June 1 at Upper Darby High School - and Sun Valley Theatre had a night to remember!

Out of six nominations, Sun Valley proudly brought home four Cappies Awards for this year’s production of The SpongeBob Musical, tying the program’s previous record set by Oklahoma!.

This year’s award winners are:

• Sun Valley Props Team - Props
• Amos Fayehun - Creativity (Foley Artist)
• Gabe Palmarini - Supporting Actor
• Jonathan Michael - Comic Actor

In addition to the awards, Gabe and Jonathan took the stage for a flawless performance of their duet, “I Guess I Miss You,” as part of the evening’s showcase of Best Musical nominees.
