Sun Valley Seniors Celebrate Their Next Steps on Decision Day

On May 1, seniors at Sun Valley High School came together to celebrate Decision Day, a special event recognizing their plans for life after graduation.

Organized by the school counseling department and announced by Assistant Principal Joe Peleckis, the event highlighted the many paths students are preparing to take. Whether they are heading to college, entering the workforce, enlisting in the military, pursuing trade or technical programs, or still finalizing their next steps, each journey was recognized and celebrated.

Decision Day served as a meaningful moment to reflect on the hard work, growth, and accomplishments that brought the Class of 2026 to this point. Surrounded by classmates, staff, and school pride, seniors looked ahead to the opportunities that await them.

We are incredibly proud of the Sun Valley Class of 2026 and look forward to all they will accomplish in the future.
