Sun Valley Hosting First Mini-THON on April 10

Sun Valley High School’s National Honor Society is proud to host Mini-THON this year, an event that raises funds and awareness for childhood cancer in partnership with Four Diamonds and Penn State College of Medicine.

Through Four Diamonds, families facing childhood cancer receive critical care and support, while pediatric research professionals at Penn State work to develop more effective treatments and reduce long-term side effects. Sun Valley students will raise funds for this important cause and come together for a culminating Mini-THON celebration on April 10.

All Sun Valley students are welcome to participate. Community members are also encouraged to support the effort by creating a fundraising page through DonorDrive.

NHS students are busy planning the event, and several school-wide fundraisers are planned in the weeks ahead. The first will be Mini-THON at the 76ers. Families, friends, and members of the Penn-Delco community are encouraged to help spread the word and support the cause.
