Sun Valley Holds Pep Rally Ahead of Turkey Bowl

Sun Valley students and staff gathered on November 25 for the annual Turkey Bowl Pep Rally ahead of the matchup against Chichester. The event was led by seniors JP Griswold, Jonathan Michael, and Dakotah Hermann.

Highlights included performances by the Chamber Choir and cheerleaders, a balloon pop game, recognition of winter sports seniors, a masked mascot contest, the “setting the table” relay, the sweep-the-potato race, a game of Knock Out, and the Pie a Teacher challenge.

On Thanksgiving Day, November 27, Sun Valley faced Chichester in the Turkey Bowl. While the team gave a spirited effort, Chichester came away with the win. The week highlighted school spirit, student participation, and the community tradition surrounding the Turkey Bowl.
