Sun Valley Dedicates Wrestling Room to Honor Coach Tommy Ellis

Sun Valley High School held a heartfelt ceremony on December 11 to officially dedicate its wrestling room in honor of Coach Tommy Ellis, a beloved figure whose passion and dedication have left an indelible mark on the school and the community.

In front of an audience of students, staff, alumni, and community members, Athletic Director Pat Rafferty captured the significance of the moment.

"This room will no longer be just a place to train…this room is now a daily testament to Coach Tommy’s impact on our school and our community,” Rafferty stated.

Coach Ellis was known not only for his expertise in wrestling but also for his unwavering belief in his athletes and his ability to inspire them to achieve greatness both on and off the mat.
