The Student Senate will be hosting a Clothing Drive through March 16^th. Drop off locations will be in the Main Lobby and A-2.

Plan on participating in Mini-THON’s Penny Wars, a friendly competition where classes raise money to support children and families through Four Diamonds. The rules are simple:  pennies and dollar bills put into your class's bottle in the Main Lobby will earn points, while silver coins can be used to take points away from other classes' bottles. At the end of next week, the winning class will be entered into a giveaway for either a free prom ticket or a $100 gift card. Start digging for spare change and get ready to compete, because every penny truly makes a difference!

Club Meetings

National English Honors Society (NEHS) will be required to help at this year’s Sun Valley Poetry Day in April. There will be a MANDATORY meeting for all NEHS members on Monday, March 16^th, at 2:15 in the MIC. Please plan on attending.

Seniors/Juniors:  You must pre-register on SchooLinks in order to attend any college visits. Registration closes 8 hours prior to each visit.

Attn seniors: 

-          As you receive acceptance and scholarship letters from colleges, don’t forget to bring them to the Counseling Office and upload them to SchooLinks. We want to make sure you are recognized for your achievements.

-          Keep an eye on Schoology’s ‘College and Career Planning’ Course for scholarship opportunities. New scholarships are added as they become available.

Sports/Activities

Attn Spring Athletes:  Spring sports start on Monday, March 2^nd.  All PIAA Physical packets and Section 7 Re-certification forms to participate in a spring sport are due to the Athletic Office by this Friday, February 20^th.  You can print the PIAA Physical or Re-certification form from the Sun Valley – Athletic website under FORMS or pick up a copy from the Athletic Office.
