This month’s Sun Valley Shout Out’s are awarded to:  Jaclyn Sullenburger, Connor Johnston, Claire Dougherty, McKenzie Burgos, and Lucy Esposito. Congratulations!  Head to the PBIS bulletin board (located near the main entrance between the auditorium and the music rooms) to see why they were nominated.  

It is Motif submission time! If you’ve written any poetry or short stories, if you’ve created any films or videos, if you’ve made any paintings, drawings, cartoons, anime, sculptures, or ceramic creations, or if you’ve taken any photographs that you are particularly proud of or would like to share, please consider submitting to Motif, Sun Valley’s literary and artistic magazine. Teachers, if a student has created something particularly worthy, please encourage that student to submit or please submit on their behalf. If you have a piece you’d like to submit, please see or email to Mr. Hill. The deadline to submit is today, May 8^th.

On Thursday, May 21^st, there will be an Informational Meeting for all sophomores and juniors interested in the Work Experience Program for the 2026-2027 school year. The meeting will be held in the MIC, at 11:51 a.m. (6^th Period). In order to attend, you must preregister, by filling out this form (link below). Attending the Informational Meeting does not commit you to the program. JUNIORS may receive ONE CREDIT for participating in the program. SENIORS may receive up to THREE CREDITS for participating. In order to prepare for the meeting, all Interest Forms must be submitted by Tuesday, May 19^th. Please see Mr. Hill, in C-84, with any questions.

Keystone Algebra 1 Tutoring Sessions during LUNCH periods are available for any student who is taking (or retaking) the test this May, 2026. Please see below for room locations:

-  5^th period lunch – B-57

-  6^th period lunch – A-31

-  7^th period lunch – B-48

Sports/Activities

Attn all senior athletes:  College Signing Day will be Wednesday, June 3^rd.  If you’re playing a sport at the collegiate level, please stop by the Athletic Office before you leave today, May 8^th, to include your name and information on the list.
