10 Sun Valley Seniors Commit to Collegiate Athletics

Sun Valley High School proudly celebrated members of the Class of 2026 who have committed to continuing their academic and athletic careers at the collegiate level during Signing Day on June 3.

The event was held in front of family, friends, coaches, and staff, and included remarks from Athletic Director Pat Rafferty and Principal John Paul Roskos.

These student-athletes have demonstrated dedication, commitment, and perseverance throughout their time at Sun Valley - balancing academic responsibilities with athletic achievement. Today’s celebration honored the next step in their journeys as they prepare to compete and learn at the collegiate level.

  • Rachael Pace Field Hockey, Immaculata University
  • Amanda Pappas - Volleyball, University of Valley Forge
  • Brighid Sweigart - Stunt, Mercyhurst University
  • Vincent Vonn - Track & Field, Widener University

Sun Valley recognizes and celebrates each of these students for their accomplishments and the hard work that has led them to this milestone.
