College and Career Planning

The Sun Valley High School Counseling Office has selected SchooLinks to assist our students in managing the college and career planning process.SchooLinks will provide students with tools and resources to support their post-secondary exploration and planning. 

Feature highlights include:

  • Interactive career exploration inventories enabling students to explore career clusters they are passionate about.
  • Comprehensive information for students from the Bureau of Labor Statistics about career paths in high demand.
  • Post-secondary exploration for students for 2 and 4 year colleges and universities, vocational programs, and military service. 
  • Digital record of student information including standardized test scores, Keystone scores, and ACT 158 Pathway completion.
  • College Application & Transcript Manager allows students and counselors to manage and track document requests for college applications.
  • Provides parents, guardians, and counselors with access to student scholarship and financial aid information.
  • SchooLinks’ Experience Tracker includes a Portfolio option that allows students to record and save artifacts of student work/learning experiences.
  • SchooLinks’ course planner tool is designed to scaffold and simplify course planning for students. 
  • Parents can stay informed of their student’s activity and course planning, as well as explore post-secondary options for their child through their own parent account (instructions below).

SchooLinks Parent Access

To set up your parent account, please go to http://app.schoolinks.com/login/member.

  • At the log in screen, click 'Forgot My Password' and enter the email address you have on file with the school in Skyward.
  • Next click 'Reset Password'. Please see the screen shots below for assistance.
  • Then enter the email on file with the district, then click 'Reset Password'.

  • An email will be sent to create a SchooLinks password. Follow the instructions to create your password, then return to the login page and log in via email and password.
