Penn-Delco School District proudly kicked off the 2024-25 academic year on September 3, welcoming back more than 3,200 students across its six schools.
New This Year: Daily Homeroom
Sun Valley will introduce a daily homeroom period for all students during the 2024-2025 school year.
2024-2025 Bus Schedules
The Penn-Delco Transportation Department transports over 3,000 students to and from Penn-Delco District schools daily, in addition to more than 400 private school students and our district's special education children.
Get Meals at School
School meals are some of the healthiest meal options for students. Our mealtimes feature kid-approved foods and are an important part of the learning day.
Dive into summer reading
Reading over the summer not only strengthens previous learning, but lays the groundwork for the next school year. Assignments are required for students entering grades 6-12, recommended for grades K-5.

About Us
Sun Valley High School, home of the Vanguards, is proud to educate over 1050 students in grades 9-12. The high school offers many academic, technical, business, music and arts programs as well as a full array of extra-curricular activities. Our academic courses range from college prep to honors to advanced placement.
